Welcome to Jake's Gun Reviews. This website has been created to help educate readers on particular firearms I happen to run across and have the chance to shoot both on a range and with a camera. The primary goal of this website is to give a bit of history on each firearm and also create what is, effectively, a highly-illustrated "users' manual" of sorts insofar as basic disassembly and reassembly is concerned. Each article is put in the simplest terms possible so as to be understood by those with both little and vast knowledge on firearms, and if there is any particular firearm you'd like to know more about beyond what's covered here, e-mails are more than welcomed. I focus primarily on military and police-style firearms, but the occasional hunting or "plinking gun" may show up here and there. If you've been here before and are wanting to keep up-to-date, you'll be wanting to check in on the Site Updates Timeline page every once in a while. Since the blog page previously featured on the site didn't work as planned, I've decided to just make an easy to check timeline page. This will make navigation easier as you will be informed about new articles as soon as they have been posted.
Another update to the site; I have included some lists on the "Rifles," "Handguns," and "Shotguns," pages. I believe these hyperlinks may prove useful to the mobile device readers. If so, I will probably find a way to incorporate links to the other navigation pages (such as the Questions/Comments section and FAQ) for their use. The "Site Updates Timeline" page has also been added, as previously mentioned, so you may keep better track of what all new content has been posted. Updates to the timeline are deleted after being up for approximately six months so as to keep the page shorter in length.
Thank you for visiting,
